Début de saison, nous sommes 5 skieurs très expérimentés et équipés, je me lance dans un couloir nommé «dièdre d’oncet » proche du pic du midi, orienté SSE, avec un départ 45+ puis 40 moyennes avec des ressauts 45.
C’est un run que je connais bien. La météo est bonne, le risque avalanche 2/5 très modéré, malgré une sous couche encore très instable.

A world-class international field dropped into the Alta Chutes today at The North Face Frontier Freeride World Qualifier 4* at The Remarkables ski field in Queenstown (New Zealand).

Finals day brought a spectacular showdown at the FIS Australia New Zealand Cup Freeski & Snowboard Slopestyle. Ben Barclay was never in doubt for a podium placing as soon as he had the first run on the scoreboard, taking the lead right from the get-go with a score of 87.33. Scoring highly for the difficulty and variety of his rail tricks and then backing up with well-executed and technical jump tricks, the win was his for the taking.

J'ai 23 ans, je suis moniteur et je ride à La Plagne ! J'aimerais vraiment participer a l'early camp pour pouvoir profiter d'un snowpark de qualité en début de saison, recevoir des conseils de coach et ainsi augmenter mon niveau pour l'hiver à venir.
Voici mon edit de ma saison 2017, un peu de ski en park malgré des blessures et le manque de neige et bien sur du ski en hors piste pour profiter des quelques rares chutes de neiges que l'on a eu cette saison !

A season full of ups and downs. After an ACL tear in 2016 I came back to full strength just in time for winter and the FWQ season. Right at my first competition in january I took a nasty crash and injured my right foot. The rest of the seaon I had to deal with an aching ankle and didn't feel 100% on my skis until spring. Anyway I managed to make this little edit out of the few shots I got.
