4*FWQ Silvretta-Montafon - the next stage of the Open Faces is coming up. Many of the best freeriders will be at the start in Montafon (AUT) to qualify for the BIG FWQ FINALS 2022 at this last event before the "qualification cut". The challenging terrain will demand real skills from the freeriders and will offer a spectacular freeride show.

Alessandro Jossen from Switzerland, tackled a line that was unique on this day. He used the dangerous rocks right at the start for a first 360 into the absolute "no fall zone". Shortly thereafter he followed up on a rock with another even slightly "corked 3" and then a little later used a large cornice for a massive backflip. Ca faisait un moment que je me demandais ce que serait un hiver au milieu de belles montagnes pleines de neige... mais sans station, sans remontées et sans touristes ! l' hiver dernier m' a apporté une réponse, une superbe saison à la maison, des pentes vierges tous les jours, des runs incroyables et la possibilité d attendre les bonnes conditions et la stabilité dans les pentes (avec peu de risques de se faire prendre les traces), ce qui est un luxe dans les 3 Vallées ! Bref, la montagne q...

Originaire des Pyrénées Ouest, nous adorons manger des arachides, la bière, et le ride. Ici présent une petite descente engagée du pic de Caoubère sur le massif du Mont-Perdu - Gavarnie - Bigorre.

Lundi 3 mai 2021 Après un week end bien bien pourri, froid et pluie. Il était de bon aloi d'aller voir en altitude si ce mauvais temps avait apporté de belles choses. Et ce fut le cas, le tout sous un grand soleil qui ne chauffait pas trop pour la saison, une neige de qualité premium. Et au mois de mai c'est assez exceptionnel! Bref, encore une fois, génial!
