The ones who love winter sports will be delighted to find out about the new-to-be pleasure complex, Silver Mountain, located in Poiana Mica.
We are sure that not only the passionate skiers will be attracted by the new resort.The initiators of this project also proposed to build near by a golf course laid on about 40 ha which will be the property of the municipal authority.
The golf circuit will be administrated by a mixt society, which will probably be Kronstadt Golf.
The whole construction will last 4-5 years. The first stage will include building a new hotel and about 120 apartment. Mr. Leo Skarlator, the General Manager of INR and investor of this project, declared that they will be inaugurated on 1st December 2007.
The accommodation unit will host 75 rooms and will be administrated by a famous hotel chain. The hotel will have two restaurants , a conference centre, a commercial area, a fitness centre, swimming-pool and spa.
INR will also build a “house club” where the tourists can spend their free time as pleasant and relaxed as possible.Among all of these, the inner resort will host five tennis fields, two of them beeing indoor.
The ones who wish to become owners in Silver Mountain can choose one of the 612 apartments or 15 luxury villas.
The apartments will place from 60 to 275 square meters and the selling prices will start from 120.000 Euro to 620.000 Euro accoding to space/ surface and number of the rooms.
It is extremely important that the investor promised he would not make deforestation. The land has a lot of clearings. Where necessary, the trees will be “moved”, not cut.
The villas will have spacious yards with surfaces between 1.300 and 2.900 square meters. The buildings will be 3,4 or 5 bedrooms between 265 and 380 square meters. The possible buyers will have to pay between 780.000 and 1.200.000 Euro. All the residences will have luxurious finishing off and the lastest endowments.The new owners can recover their investments by renting the villas or the apartments. They will also have the possibility to delegate their properties to the company which will manage the hotel, and to reserve them for spending their own holidays.
The funds for this project belong 80% to the company INR , the rest will be obtained by bank credits.
The whole project has been made by Westfourth Arhitecture company; the management of the works will be provided by the British company Gardiner&Teobald. The inner design will be realized by a French company.

Bukovel ski resort
Bukovel ski resort is a new large ski resort in Ivano-Frankivsk oblast 30 km to the west of Yaremcha. It is Ukraine's first European-class resort, with a couple high-speed chair lifts, meticulously groomed slopes and snow-making machines, turnstyles for letting skiers through lines, and ubiquitous security personnel. It's unusual to see this degree of organization in Ukraine. Bukovel resort has been carefully planned to make skiing enjoyable and convenient and to avoid lift lines and congestion. Lift lines longer than five minutes are rare.
Bukovel has major plans for expansion; supposedly by the 2008-2009 season it plans to have 278 km of runs and 35 (!) lifts, which would make it one of the 20 largest ski resorts in the world.
