Elan 888's are FABULOUS!!!
I got a chance to ski on these skis last year in UTAH, my friends are sponsored by Elan in Europe and they were given these skis (and the 1111's). We skied- Brighton, Alta, Snowbird, and Solitude- we hit the jackpot and were the lucky recipients of 4 feet of pow in 7 days- 4 days of snow, 3 sunny days- It was powder heaven (end of feb '07). These skis rocked! they floated through the powder with extraordinary agility and even allowed for some nice carving after we came out the woods onto the groomed. They are wonderfully flexible and soft while providing you with magnificent control. They were so much fun that it has been a long 6 months waiting for them to go on sale. For those who are serious about powder skiing you will not be disappointed by these skis. I cant say enough about them.
