Shane McConkey

First up, we check out Shane going into orbit in his infamous section from Ski Movie. Then we check out the jet set life of one of pro skiing’s biggest celebs in There’s Something About McConkey. Its a docuvid following Shane and his mates as they go on their global quest to dominate the mountains, and includes loads of skits, skiing and Shane going BASE jumping.
Finally, we check out Shane’s part in Ski Movie 2: High Society. His skiing is out of control as ever, but when you see some of his BASE jumps you really start to question his sanity.

The Arctic Challenge 2000. Unhappy with a ski federation designing a snowboard event’s pipe and judging system, Terje shocked the world when he shunned the Olympics! Instead, he created the Arctic Challenge, which is not so much an event, as a laboratory for the progression of snowboarding. This is the first year of the event, and it goes behind the scenes to talk to Terje about his motives behind creating this ambitious and unique project.
Haakonsen factor. Cinematographer Dave Seaone followed Terje around the world to uncover what makes the legendary rider so good that he turns a sport into an art.
