Chamonix is not
exactly the best spot for a typical freestyle
curriculum since the snowparks we had
were none other than natural lips at the
Aiguille du Midi or kicks that we would
build at the Grands Montets.That gave me
an approach to freestyle which was totally
different from the one a youngster could
have in a traditional freestyle snowpark. I
“grew up” in the high mountains. That’s
what‘s called "Freestyle-Big mountain" and
this is exactly where I belong. I’ve been a
freestyle racer for 6 years; I spend more
than half the year shooting ski movies and
photos between Europe and the USA.
