Highlight of the event was the final of the unique Parallel Freeride Contest. The riders compete head-to-head in duos. The final took place between two Swiss teams: Freeride youngster Maxime Chabloz and his teammate Alexandre Jossen secured the day's victory ahead of Patrick Ambühl and Joel Bleyer from Engelberg. Third were the two Austrians Flo Orley and Valentin Werner-Tutschku.
