After returning from the attempted FWT event in Hakuba, Japan (which unfortunately didn't run due to weather and snow conditions) Yann Rausis and me headed back to Revelstoke to hit some pow, pillows and big drops with short trannys, before cruising over to Kicking Horse for FWT stop two (plus the restaged Hakuba event) We managed to time our arrival perfectly with the first big storm in a while, and had a hell of a time! Riding Revelstoke in Jan was awesome, it is for sure one of my favourite resorts in the world. It's a totally different style of riding to places like Verbier or the European alps (generally speaking) You spend most of your time searching for hidden features in the forests, skiing pillow lines and sending drops between trees.
