The FWT Junior World Championship (FWT JWC) is the highlight of the freeride juniors on ski and snowboard. On January 20th to 26th 2023, the annual highlight of the season takes place in Kappl-Paznaun, Austria.
In challenging runs, the junior athletes show spectacular jumps and drops in the terrain as well as challenging lines through the deep snow.

The first Open Faces qualifier competition of the season started with prime conditions and a triple victory for Austria in the men’s ski category. The freeride hotspot Kappl / Paznaun served as the venue for an OPEN FACES stop for the 11th time.
