I buy every 2 years new boots hopingfor finding the best boots for my ride. After SLX burton, confotable but too soft, Ion, Ion boa, Great the first 20 days then too soft, Nitro TLS (the heating system cable in the liner kill my foot) and the boots became too soft.
I’m 47, 82kg, 27,5, medium large, good rider (split, backcountry)
First when I get in the boots I feel my feet super well in this liner.
I’ve tryed the MTB 2022 and I was suprised having like half boots at the back, and was wondering how you can do backside turn with those boots? They have definitly change the design of the boots this year 2023 and now they provide a full boots at the back :)
Confortable but well maintained, you feel all your foot well surrounded, and when you pull the laces your foot is locked (no need to hard, just enough to maintain your foot)
I love all the spare part to do your own adjustement, foot arch, ankle, stifness,…
For the first time I’m not about to do custom made sole (good saving, so finaly the boots is not so expensive)
The boots is stiff but just what needed for backcountry. Some are saying that they are too stiff and unconfortable. I must say that they are wrong, they are super confortable.
The boa system works well, and when you are in tour mode just need to unlock the front one.
I will check if I will keep it for more than 2 years, but I think I found in love with them. And for me boots are just the most important for every rider.
Merci
