The time has come !!
CentralCamps, Télé-Thyon, Nitro and Nixon think that Snowboarding should be meshed up with Art in a happening that’s different to the rest.
They want to give a platform to the snowboarders where the riders can have a great session without having the competitive thought in mind. That’s why we present « You know what time it is» , a Snowboard & Art Happening in Thyon les Collons, Switzerland.
Date : Saturday, 1st March 2008
Time : From 6 pm to 22 pm
Imagine a big Hip Jump, over which 20-30 invited Snowboarders are having a relaxed Jump session. Beside the Hip Jump, 2 groups of graffiti artists are decorating a big wall with their art. Attached to the wall, there are 6 brand new colourless virgin Snowboards, which are being overprinted in the graffiti process. So every single board is ending up with having it’s own design. Those “Limited Edition” Snowboards will then be used for different purposes. They will be given away to the CentralCamps, to the public and to selected media partners.
Besides, there’s going to be an already renowned artist. He will be creating a picture during the session and this process will be projected to a big screen and onto the hip jump. His masterpiece also will be the prize for the winner of the Jump Session.
This Event shows the Fusion of Snowboarding and Art like nothing else before! Of course the fun doesn’t stop after the Jump Session.
DJ ADRI, MAD KID and EAGLE will make you jump on the dance floor too! This event will bring some really good snowboarders to Thyon, as there are no other big competitions going on at the same date.
« You know what time it is » is not about prize money, it’s a gathering of friends and family, a relaxed session without competitive pressure which reunites the general interest in creativity! Let’s get inspired!
