A great ''resort'' for tough guys, no tracks, only what nature provides. One single lift (from the village, 1400m, to the top, 3550m), and a magnificent mountain.
Excellent (more than 10 out of 10) when the pow is here, but the worst ever when it's icy or no pow for a long time (like some of these last winters).
++ :
The village is splendid, as well as the mountain, one of the most beautiful in the Alps
Freeride athmosphere
Lots of itineraries, from expert to clearly foolish
-- :
Less than average in bad conditions (no tracks, lots of hidden rocks/roots, etc.)
Can be quite crowded (particularly in march)
Not a family resort, quite the contrary (though it is linked to Les Deux Alpes)
